The competition
Tournament Format
- Four stages
- 24 clubs across four stages: eight groups of three, then four groups of four, then two groups of four, then knockout and final.
- Each tie
- Two singles matches and one doubles. Players are 40 years and older.
- Time at the resort
- Stage 1 runs five days. Stages 2 and 3 run six. The final runs five.
- The rest day
- One rest day per team, with an exclusive masterclass led by a tennis legend.
- Tournament Director
- A tennis legend serves as Tournament Director for each stage.
- The stay
- The ACE League covers the stay.

Club Qualifying Format
Clubs host qualifying competitions before each stage — singles played between club members, and doubles played in partner pairings.

- Players must be 40 years or older.
- Active
- Must be a registered, active club member.
- 1 year
- Minimum one year of continuous club membership.
After the final
The Charity Event
An annual event follows the final, held at each of the twenty-four participating clubs.

Before you register
Questions
- Who is eligible to play?
- Players must be forty years or older, a registered and active member of their club, and hold at least one year of continuous membership.
- How does a club enter?
- A club officer registers the club's interest. Once the club has joined, it hosts its own qualifying competition before each stage — singles between members, and doubles in partner pairings — to decide who travels.
- What is the match format?
- Each tie is two singles matches and one doubles. The competition runs over four stages: eight groups of three, then four groups of four, then two groups of four, then the knockout and final.
- Where is it played?
- Every stage is hosted at Four Seasons resorts across selected destinations, among them Bora Bora, Koh Samui, Hoi An, Hualalai, Peninsula Papagayo and the Bahamas. The final is played at Four Seasons Maldives.
- Who pays for the stay?
- The ACE League covers the stay. Stage one runs five days at the resort, stages two and three run six, and the final runs five.
- What happens on a rest day?
- Each team is given one rest day per stage, with an exclusive masterclass led by a tennis legend — the same figure serving as Tournament Director for that stage.
